Rating 5.0

I just replaced my Mazama Reputations with these awesome tires. My car is a 2017 Jeep Cherokee High Altitude 4x4. These tires are grippy, have good response characteristics with good road feel. The Mazamas were a very rough ride in comparison. This Jeep feels like a luxury ride now. Not feeling all the little bumps and road jarring. Just smooth, quiet and grippy. I'm impressed. It's like driving a new car.

Pros: grippy, good response
Cons: pricier than usual
Mileage: 64373 km

BRIDGESTONE Tires

The only reason I avoid recommending Bridgestone Blizzaks is that while they are an absolutely incredible preforming tire, the softness of the tire wears out quickly and they tend to have a higher ticket price.

Pros: incredible preforming tire
Cons: wears out quickly

Whoever said blizzak are terrible in the snow is a lunatic I have to TRY and get the traction control to come on, and cane take corners covered in ice at 40-50mph and the car doesn’t even wiggle…now my preference is Michelin Alpin Pa4 but I had these in my garage from a couple years ago…I bought them then 2 weeks later the wheel got a crack, so I got the Alpin on the 19” wheels and did that the last 3 winters, now the wheel is fixed and the basically new blizzaks are great just got back from 5 inches of snow and ice I’m driving the speed limit everybody else has their hazards on and/or crashing into curbs.

Pros: great in snow and ice

BRIDGESTONE Tires

I highly recommend Bridgestone Blizzaks. I put those on my stock steelies and bought a nicer set of aftermarket wheels with all season tires for Spring through Fall.

Pros: good in terrible weather

MRF Tires

Idk if the showroom guys have control over that because I asked for Apollo and I got MRF. The sales guy told me the bikes get allocated at random.

But coming to the tyre itself I would say the MRFs are good only. Never felt the lack of grip except one time when my tyre was in slushy mud. Appearance wise also the MRF's look a little wider compared to the Apollo's since the tyre profile is more curved in the latter if that matters to you.

Pros: good grip, wider appearance
Cons: lack of grip in mud

BRIDGESTONE Tires

I'm not a fan of Blizzaks because I find they're no where near as good in the 2nd/3rd+ season as they wear.

Pros: major brands
Cons: worse after wear
