Tires BRIDGESTONE or Firestone

I have Indy 500s on my E36 M3 and have been very happy with them. Breakaway is predictable, and the limits are high. They're 95% of the performance of a PS4S but 66% of the price.

But for A/T and H/T tires, I have been using Bridgestones for the longest time now.

You need some better snow tires. I had Firestone Winterforce 2 UV tires on my Jeep and almost always just needed RWD in the UP unless I drove to breakers and it was 12” of snow

I chose the Bridgestone weatherpeaks for my 21 forester. They were great in the rain on the highway and on dry gravel/dirt roads.

Bridgestone winter tires are better quality than the Firestone Winter Force unless you're looking to have them studded.

Like the Bridgestone Turanza 6 is pretty damn good, it's probably the best summer touring tyre on the market right now. Comfort and low noise typical of a touring tyre, with performance approaching a UHP.

I mean one of the first things I did on my Golf R was.... better rubber and it really did transform the car.(FYI... highly recommend the newish Bridgestone Potenza Sports). I guess the other point is.. don't skimp on tires. Pay for what you get.

My 2018 Stinger had the summers PS4S and they wore like crap. Replaced them with Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 extreme summers as I already had a 18" squared Blizzak set up. Cheapest summer only I could find that had decent reviews.

The Firehawk Indy is a really good tire for performance but sucks for every day use. They get very noisy after a few heat cycles and they offer little to no wet grip. In fact once they're around 50% they're straight up ice skates in the rain.

The factory Bridgestone Ecopia tires were trash. They were useless in any wet conditions at 30k miles. It’s rocking some Generals now.
