Tires BRIDGESTONE or DUNLOP

BRIDGESTONE Tires

these tires well, may be worth the price. and after today, I've decided to keep them for the next round of tires. definitely not overkill. i would have been in a ditch today if i didn't have the traction i needed. i almost slid off the road 3 times, and that's a positive given the road conditions.

Pros: good traction in snow
Cons: almost slid off road

BRIDGESTONE Tires

I have them on my 2016 forester 2.5. I live in the middle of Indiana so for half of the year it rains somewhat regularly. Personally, I think the tire is great. I have made turns too quickly while the roads were wet and didn't slide around at all. Accelerating and braking, i consider the traction to be very good in all conditions.

Pros: great traction, safe commute
Cons: lower mileage in winter

I'm running Bridgestone Potenza. I've gone through two sets of Micheline Pilot Sports within 25k miles. I'm hoping these Bridgestones last longer. In terms of performance I don't notice a difference between the two.

Pros: performance is good
Cons: hope they last longer
Mileage: 25000 km

DUNLOP Tires

I’ve experienced some tearing on my q5s, however that’s when I wasn’t running warmers and was a bit too excited on my outlap.

Pros: good with warmers
Cons: tearing without warmers

BRIDGESTONE Tires

I moved to the Anchorage, AK area several months ago. In November, we received a couple of feet of snow. I drove fine in the snow with the stock Turanza tires the first day. But lots of compacting, melting, and refreezing made the roads slick as hell. The stock tires were slipping and sliding all over the ice.

Pros: fine in snow first day
Cons: slipping and sliding
Vehicle: Mazda

Don't go Chinese, had them on low profile 19 inches, were shot and damaged in less than 15k kms. I usually stick to the big names, Dunlop best traction, bridgestone best comfort and life, Yokohama a balance of both. Last for a decent time and the overall cost was lower compared to the kms done not to undermine the sense of safety

Pros: Dunlop best traction
Cons: shot and damaged
Mileage: 15000 km
