Tires BRIDGESTONE or DUNLOP

It isn't the car, it's the tire. I've been commuting in RWD LSs (first a 460, now a 500) for the last 13 years in Michigan with Bridgestone Blizzaks.

Not only will Dunlop provide technology to Gran Turismo 7 developer Polyphony Digital, but the game creators will help simulate the future of tyre development for the manufacturer.

Generally, the best winter tires will be Bridgestone Blizzak.

I swapped them for Bridgestone Turanza and after 20,000 when I traded in, they were maybe a third worn.

But if you can afford them, real winter tires like Bridgestone Blizzaks are a huge upgrade. Not just in snow, but on dry cold days where even good All Seasons are losing a lot of traction.

My one experience with Bridgestone was excellent on a Ford Expedition. Got 65k out of them an excellent traction.

The Bridgestone RE71RS is a 200tw performance tire. They will wear quickly - meaning you might get 10k miles out of them (give or take).

I was running stock Bridgestones - they’re 240 TW. They’re street tires and I don’t think I do enough track days to go w a more track oriented tire. They felt quite good on track. Not great. Good.

Got a 2025 Camry SE Hybrid with 15k miles on it. I keep my tires at 35 PSI all around and rotate them every 5k miles like clockwork. Dealership just told me my front tires are down to 3/32”, while the rears are still fine. They’re the stock Bridgestone Turanza EL440s that came with the car. I feel like that’s way too soon for them to be this worn I thought they were supposed to last close to 50k miles?
