Tires BFGoodrich or Shinko

BFGoodrich Tires

I got these BFG Sport Comp 2 summer tires 235/45R17, factory equivalent size for 17\u201d wheels. They are a tad beefy for a summer set but the roads in PA are atrocious and, frankly, I don\u2019t like the really low profile or stretched look. Even at this size, just slightly tall for a performance setup, these tires absolutely kill it for their price.

Pros: absolutely kill it
Cons: don't talk much

BFG AT K02 Just put my second set on my F150 about 7K miles ago. I got 56K trouble free miles out of the first set which is great in my book. The key is to balance/rotate at the recommended intervals.

Pros: trouble free miles
Vehicle: Ford
Mileage: 7000 km
Part number: K02

I had KO2's on my JK Wrangler and they were great. I had the e rated ones, so they were stiffer than the factory Bridgestone DD's but no noisier with the top on or off. I found Duratrac's get noisier as they wear, the BFG's didn't.

Pros: no noisier with top on
Cons: stiffer than factory

New BF Goodrich Comp TA a/s tires, and even on stock suspension it’s really helped. The ride is a bit crunchy but worth it.

Pros: sharpened handling, worth it
Cons: ride a bit crunchy
Vehicle: Volvo S60

I bought BFG KO2's about a year ago and they had white letters on one side, black on the other. FYI, if you get snow, the KO2's are awesome in it.

Pros: awesome in snow

The summer comp 2 has been really good in the dry and excellent in the wet in terms of grip and ride, but they fall way short of the Conti DW and the even better Mich PSS in noise. These things sound like altimax winter tires.

Pros: good in dry, excellent wet
Cons: fall short in noise
