Tires BFGoodrich or NANKANG

BFGoodrich Tires

They're on the more moderate side of AT but have been identical from a noise and fuel efficiency perspective to my previous road tire. BF Goodrich Trail-Terrain TA

Pros: identical noise, fuel efficiency
Cons: more moderate side

BFGoodrich Tires

I ran KO2s on my '18 4Runner off-rad that the ex-wife took and liked them so much I now have them on my '23 GX. I can't speak to the Falkens but I love the KO2s, off road and on (at least for the light/medium off roading I do).

Pros: love them, good off road
Cons: cost a bit more

I love KOs and KO2s. They are amazing on my F250. Going over rocky terrain on a ranch yesterday I had confidence they wouldn't tear to shreds. They have been amazing for the last 6 years on that truck. I didn't know I liked them.

Pros: amazing, wouldn't tear to shreds
Vehicle: Ford

ive only ever used BFgoodrich KO2 on both my trucks. they have worked amazing on dirt and even managed to somehow some way work on mud so nasty and thick it wouldn't come off my clothes days later. maybe the Falkens are just as good i don't know but for now ill stick to what i know is a sure thing.

Pros: amazing on dirt, work on mud

I currently have both. K02s on my taco and wildpeaks on my 4runner. I like the wildpeaks much more. The wildpeaks perform better in the snow and are quieter on pavement. They are also significantly cheaper. I've had endless balancing issues with the k02s. They ride a little harsher/stiffer as well. Off road the difference between the two is minimal.

Pros: better snow, quieter, cheaper
Cons: balancing issues, harsher ride
Vehicle: Toyota

I’ve had both. Wildpeaks on my 5th 4Runner and K02 on my Landcruiser. I prefer the look of K02 by a long shot if that matters to you. They both ride identical to me on the highway and snow honestly. They are both ATs so gonna cake up and suck in the mud.

Pros: identical ride, prefer look
Cons: suck in the mud

NANKANG Tires

Have a buddy that owns a tire shop and ran these for a a few years to put his money where his mouth was since he was recommending them to his customers. He said they were no Michelins, but were well worth the price. Seemed to hold up pretty well and his only real complaint was noise. Moreso as they got on in age, but otherwise, he thought they were better than decent.

Pros: well worth price, held up well, better than decent
Cons: noisy, more so with age

NANKANG Tires

I had been looking for a secondhand setup and got a great deal on these. I likely would not have chosen the Nankangs myself. Wet traction is awful, and I break loose from stoplights in dry conditions really often.

Cons: awful wet traction
