I am presently running then on my Tacoma: daily driver, but I live in the middle of Canadian nowhere... They work great. They're not too rough on blacktop; they're great on gravel, packed earth, tough as nails and not too expensive.

Pros: work great, not rough on blacktop, great on gravel, tough, not too expensive
Vehicle: Toyota

I’ve had my KO2 35s for 2 years now, and they’ve been outstanding. Lots of mall parking lots, and I haven’t gotten stuck yet! But seriously, I’ll likely continue to stick with this tire. Really like them now, and I always have.

Pros: outstanding performance, reliable

I’ve run Bfg on almost all of my vehicles. I’ve never had any issues with quality. Been that way for 29 plus, now.

Pros: no quality issues, long-term reliability

Bfg’s have been the best tires to me. They last for eternity, have always had enough grip for tearing up NW Washington trails that are wet and slick as shit, literally mostly roots, mud, and slick wet rocks. Never noticed poor on road performance, but you got guys expecting pirelli performance on their dodge 1500’s which is dumb. Only complaint i have is when i air down, they pop off the bead. One weird thing ive noticed, is theyll get to about 20% tread depth, and then stay there for the next 10 years. Its like thats as much as theyll ware.

Pros: last for eternity, excellent grip off-road, good on-road performance, long wear life
Cons: pop off bead when aired down

The summer comp 2 has been really good in the dry and excellent in the wet in terms of grip and ride, but they fall way short of the Conti DW and the even better Mich PSS in noise. These things sound like altimax winter tires.

Pros: good in dry, excellent wet
Cons: fall short in noise

I've had NS-II on my car for the past 4 years. For daily driving these tires will do just fine. Wet grip is alright and they're not terribly loud. They don't compare to Michelin Pilot Sport tires I ran before but they also don't cost anything close to Michelins.

Pros: fine for daily driving, alright wet grip, not terribly loud, inexpensive
Cons: not comparable to premium tires

I've had some serious issues with the KO2s and balancing them. Even with all tires requiring less than 10# of road force to balance the 4Runner still shakes like crazy between 45 and 60. I've been through 8x 265/70R17, and 12x 285/70R17 on my 2012. I'm never buying them again.

Now offroad, they are amazing. Been through quite a bit of stuff that I didn't think we could make it through and never had any issues.

Pros: amazing offroad
Cons: serious balancing issues
