Tires BFGoodrich or KENDA

KENDA Tires

I have the Kenda klever r/it's on my 2025 Tacoma TRD. I put 5,000 miles on them on the highway as well as in the desert in the sand mountains and snow. These are some of the best tires I've ever had, and certainly their price was very reasonable as well.

Pros: best tires, reasonable price
Vehicle: Toyota
Mileage: 8000 km

Ive been running KO2s for years and my most recent set is the KO3. I like them. They handle well on the road amd in the dirt, aren't loud at all, and last a decent amount.

Pros: handle well on road
Cons: aren't loud at all

I decided to give the Kenda K270s a shot and first impression was that they're not great on street, braking is much worse compared to the shinkos and I got a bit of wobble/instability over 65mph. Finally got to try them on dirt and WOW. They are incredible on the trail. Very confidence inspiring compared to the shinkos.

Pros: incredible on the trail
Cons: worse braking, instability

I am using the Kenda Wintergen 2 on a Mazda CX3 and it's good. Way more silent than the original Toyo R52 summer tires. And it's okay in the wet too. I'm driving it the 4th year now and they are definitely not worse than the Toyos in the wet.

Pros: more silent than Toyo
Vehicle: Mazda

I am a huge fan of my BF Goodrich ko2. The rigid sidewall helps with the rear end sway and load stability and the higher PSI reduces temperature from the sidewall under load as well. They have been excellent on-road, off-road, and snow. The only thing I will say is that at higher pressure in the tire I feel everything on the road.

Pros: excellent on/off road, load stability
Cons: feel everything on road

I had a set and my only complaint was they weren’t very good in mud, other than that they were great.

Pros: great overall performance
Cons: poor in mud

I bought KO2s because of the hype, 2 sets of them actually. And found them to be very mediocre in anything but dry dirt/rock. They have worn very well but on and offroad performance hasn't blown my hair back.

Pros: worn very well
Cons: mediocre performance, poor wet/mud traction

Just wanted to put this out there on my experience with the BF Goodrich Advantage Control tires I purchased from Costco. Bought the BFG tires with 60k on my car. I now have 118k. At 110k I noticed a roaring sound coming from my front end and thought it might be a front wheel bearing. Not the case. Noticed that on the outside tread of all the tires, about every third knobby, was worn greater than the others. Always maintained the proper PSI and rotated every 5k miles.

Cons: roaring sound, uneven wear
Mileage: 118000 km

If you have an electric car or plug-in, the BF Goodrich are complete ass. I’ve been noticing my experience and other owners of different brands that our range has dropped more than 20%.

Cons: range dropped more than 20%
