Tires BFGoodrich or Giti

Giti Tires

We just had our third major snowfall of the season (11'' here in Denver) and again, I'm quite pleased with the way the Giti's have performed at 19K miles. Traction and braking are above average on packed snow and frozen snow.

Pros: above average traction, braking
Mileage: 19000 km

To your comment about the GITI tires...my 2019 SE came with them. I've put about 2k miles on the car so far. I have always been a bit of a tire snob, changing OE tires for higher grade ones rather quickly. But I have to admit that these OE tires have really surprised me. They're quiet, smooth, and do the job a small SUV needs. Now, I'll still probably go with a different company when these wear out, but for now I'm satisfied.

Pros: quiet, smooth, do the job
Mileage: 3218 km

I have the BFGoodrich's linked in this thread on the M3, and they are great. Decent grip, great wet weather pattern, and decent life. Would buy again.

Pros: decent grip, great wet weather, decent life

I have these tires on my GTI, and love them - now on my second set. The first set lasted me over 45k miles. They got noisy at the end of their life, but they're great in wet weather, and all around grip is excellent.

Pros: great wet weather, excellent grip, good lifespan
Cons: noisy at end of life
Vehicle: Volkswagen
Mileage: 45000 km

BFGoodrich Tires

Big fan of the BF Goodrich Comp-2 A/S, for all season ability with a sport twist. I’m impressed with their grip in the wet and dry. No clue on treadwear as I haven’t put on ton of miles on them, but they look good after 12,000 miles, and I do like running at a decent clip through the hills.

Pros: good grip wet and dry, good appearance
Mileage: 12000 km

Giti Tires

We've had significant amounts of rain here in the Denver area with lots of standing water. So far, so good with the Gitis resistance to hydroplaning. No major complaints on these tires having logged about 7K miles in 3 months.

Pros: good hydroplaning resistance
Cons: no major complaints
Mileage: 7000 km

Giti Tires

I've had a 2019 Tiguan S as a dealer loaner for six days and counting, while my 2017 Tiguan SEL is being worked on. Giti brand tires (wtf) aren't too noisy.

Pros: NVH isn't too bad
Cons: tires aren't too noisy
Mileage: 13000 km

I've had some serious issues with the KO2s and balancing them. Even with all tires requiring less than 10# of road force to balance the 4Runner still shakes like crazy between 45 and 60. I've been through 8x 265/70R17, and 12x 285/70R17 on my 2012. I'm never buying them again.

Now offroad, they are amazing. Been through quite a bit of stuff that I didn't think we could make it through and never had any issues.

Pros: amazing offroad
Cons: serious balancing issues
