NGK Spark plug

after you get everything fixed don't run the oem plugs, they are too hot, if you want to run iridiums then get plugs that are 2 heat ranges colder and you'll be better off. you can also run copper plugs, i run ngk coppers that are 2 heat ranges colder and have had no issues at all.

Pros: no issues at all
Cons: oem plugs too hot

NGK Spark plug

NGK BKR7EIX is a popular plug for 1.8T and 2.0T, but it is one step colder in the heat range. Fine for those whom don't see freezing and below temps.

Pros: popular plug
Cons: too cold for freezing temps
Part number: BKR7EIX

NGK Spark plug

I changed over to the BKR7E model to see how they worked. I wasn't impressed because after that the RPMs on my tach wouldn't stay steady at idle.

Cons: unsteady idle RPMs
