Spark plug Champion or OEM Audi
Audi A3 spark plugs work like a charm. Stage 2+ & fully upgraded supporting hardware.
I always run champion platinum in the coil rail 4.0s. Sometimes engines are particular.
Since I've owned my 18 S4 i've done almost everything myself:
4 oil changes, spark plugs at 40k, 2 sets of pads and 1 set of rotors, both air filters.
You can get the champion version of the RS7 plugs for less than $20 a plug and they’re working great on my car!
These were actually alright spark plugs. The ceramic is a lot tougher than normal ceramic, and the electrode is larger. They were marketed as 'truck plugs', but they're really good in old tractors and farm equipment. They last forever.
For spark, I wasn't sure I had the right plugs so I went with the OEM Champion plugs that were recommended in the Bentley. I checked for spark, no issues there.
I once had to use 99 cent Champion plugs in my car for a few months when I was flat broke. They worked fine but didn't last long.
I would return them and get Motorcraft anyway. Champion is garbage.
I’m IE stage 1, had the plugs changed to rs7 plugs I had been waiting to Install (they were early versions) not long after, left the shop and had horrendous misfire. Limped back to the shop and got OE plugs back in and it worked fine.
Champion plugs are barely adequate for a lawnmower...
