I couldn’t use any other spark plugs I had to use those or my car would run like crap.
In my 2012 with the 2.5L engine, I replaced my spark plugs with Bosch Iridium (#96302), around 90K miles. It's been great since.
My 2017 VW Jetta 1.4 5M - at 67760 miles on the factory original plugs - now has new Bosch Iridium/Plattinum plugs - (YA5KIP80)..................(the only symptom on the old plugs was a MPG drop - no hard starting, no missing, no rough idle......... EZ
changed out the spark plugs, all except for cyl 1 had crazy looking plugs. Used Bosch platinum 6704 cleared up the CEL and also the stability and TC lights no longer flash so somehow that was connected I guess.
For iridium spark plug. Do NOT gap them. I have bosch double iridium spark plugs and over 120K miles now. Still goes strong.
I don't say for 100% sure but my understanding is that Bosch and NGK are the ones you should use
The car works almost fine with the new bosch , i have a little vibration on idling .
I put the expensive double spark, spark plugs into a Mitsubishi galant one time. Plugs were supposed to be hotter and make the car run better, after a couple weeks I swapped them back out for nkg’s that I checked the gap on, car ran better.
Never use bosch plugs. I work in a bosch car service and we won't use em, NGK only. Bosch stuff is garbage
BOSCH stopped German manufacture of spark plugs long ago, they suck now.
