use beru plugs rather than Bosch, a lot of Bosch plugs sold for this application has the wrong heat range which can cause misfires.

Pros: correct heat range
Cons: wrong heat range

I've had my Bosch platinum spark plugs in for 120k+ kilometers and they still run as good as they did the day I installed them, back in 2011.

Pros: runs as good as new
Mileage: 120000 km

BERU Spark plug

I swapped out the oem plugs for Beru rs7 plugs when I went APR stage 2 at ~3k miles. The car ran well. Fast forward to the present with over 18k miles and is20 swap, and I noticed a few stumbles at idle. Nothing major but I figured I'd change them since APR recommends 10-15k mile intervals (visually the Beru plugs looked fine).

Pros: car ran well
Cons: stumbles at idle
Mileage: 18000 km

I recently just replaced my spark plugs they were past due. So I bought the OE Bosch 9683. The engine runs fine, starts easy, no misfiring, no rough running. But after the plug change I am getting much worse millage.

Pros: engine runs fine, starts easy
Cons: worse millage
Vehicle: Mazda 5
Mileage: 108500 km
Part number: 9683

Bosch Spark plug

Champion is OEM and what we suggest at work, but NGK has never failed us with any application. Bosch is generally terrible and we only use them if it’s a very specific application.

Pros: NGK never failed
Cons: Bosch generally terrible
