I had the FSD/Eibach setup on my MK5 and loved it. The FSD is a great option for those who dont want to be jolted around constantly but a super stiff suspension but still want it stiff in the corners.on highway and around town it was similar to stock but once I took a good corner it stuck it real well.

Pros: stiff in the corners
Cons: not super stiff suspension

Santa brought me a pair of Koni yellow adjustable shocks. I already have VWR springs and a 24mm RSB. My goal with the shocks was to help the transient response at the rear of the car. This past weekend, I was able to find the time to put them on the car. I can definitely feel the difference.

Pros: feel the difference

I went with the Koni Red shock absorbers front and rear and am very pleased so far. I just got around to installing these a couple of months ago and have had a few trips and the ride quality is night and day difference. I also raised the front by tightening the torsion bars so the vehicle is nearly level with a slight rake (front lower). The ride is smooth and not harsh (no more bottoming out) with much less body roll on corners. The fronts were set one click from the hardest setting and the rear at 2 from the hardest setting.

Pros: smooth ride, not harsh, less body roll
Vehicle: Volkswagen

I've had koni yellows with VWR springs for 3 weeks now with front and rear shocks on full firm. The front shock adjustment is easy, and the difference in a quater turn can be felt. Rear shocks can be adjusted, but require removal to do it.

Pros: easy front shock adjustment
Cons: rear shocks require removal

I've had mine on for a month now, in my opinion the ride is very firm...but not bouncy. Exactly what I wanted. The ride height is perfect, it's obvious that it is lowered (two fingers from tire to wheel arch), but still daily drivable.

Pros: ride is very firm
Cons: gravel road sucked

I replaced them with Koni SRT.T with H&R Springs for the same money.... moral of the story... if you're going to buy coils, dont cheap out.

Pros: Koni SRT.T, H&R Springs
Cons: cheap coils don't last

Ok, got the front Koni Yellow's on and have driven on them maybe 20mi set on minimum setting and car road very nice not really any difference from the 180K H&R's I took off other than I did notice improvement when worn rears were replaced.

Pros: road very nice, improvement noticed
Cons: not really any difference

i have the Koni STR.T and Eibach Prokit combo and have had it for about 2.5 years/30k miles. I'm currently looking at either Koni Yellows or Bilstein B8 shocks. The Konis were great for the first year, but after the first year, the rear shocks failed. Now the fronts are getting very rough and feel bouncy like when I had the Eibach prokit springs on failed stock shocks/struts.

Pros: great for the first year
Cons: rear shocks failed, feel bouncy
Vehicle: Volkswagen
