I heard the same about the B8 so I bought the Koni Special active with Eibach pro kit lowering 3cm.

I can say I am absolutely satisfied. The car is a real train at the curves without being stiff.

Pros: satisfied, real train at curves
Cons: without being stiff

Monroe OE Spectrum. It had better valving than what comes stock. Where I live it’s about 70-80 a pair so easy on the wallet and produces a nice smooth ride.

Pros: nice smooth ride
Cons: better valving needed

I would suggest at least better shock absorbers (the emu ones are good but I've heard that the Koni adjustable shocks are a lot better especially for the body roll)

Pros: better for body roll
Vehicle: Suzuki Jimny

I have Koni Yellows and stock springs on my '93 Corrrado SLC (VR6) that's in storage. I put the dampening right in the middle and they rode great and my Corrado handled great.

Pros: rode great, handled great
Vehicle: Volkswagen Corrado
