Shocks started bouncing on mine and I replaced with the same bilsteins about 6 years ago. Back are easy DIY. Front need spring compressor. I have 137k on mine and not a single problem in 16 years. These trucks are amazing.

Pros: long lasting, reliable
Vehicle: Toyota
Mileage: 220479 km

Bilstein Shock absorbers

I've always liked Bilsteins so I decided to go with a set that were made for 2" lifts. Installing the fronts was a bit of a pain as the lower bolt on these trucks likes to seize. The rears were about 10 minutes each side.

Pros: easy rear install
Cons: front install pain
Vehicle: Nissan

I just installed bilsteins all around and did my Sway bar mounts/links. My god the difference it made was ridiculous.

Pros: difference was ridiculous

I had Bilsteins on my 2007 ranger when I bought it new from the dealer. I replaced them at around 93k miles, with more Bilsteins of course. I would recommend them if it is in your budget

Pros: would recommend them

I've just installed 5100s at all four corners. The new shocks nicely compliment my rear anti-sway bar and upgraded front anti-sway bar. My truck handles nice and flat on curves of all kinds.

Pros: handles nice and flat
Cons: loud groan when maneuvering
