I have Bilstein B8s on my lowered Alltrack and I love how they work w/ my springs. Very controlled over the very imperfect road surfaces of California. ha.

Pros: very controlled

Took her out on the HWY for an extended drive thrashing. Its a totally diff car now! Has great road feel while cruising but much more solid handling and tracking at higher speeds that before would get sloppy and concerning. even at almost triple digits it was poised and confidence inspiring. Also comfortable! Can't stress this enough they wont ruin the ride like normal stiffer shocks. The Koni SA's really polish the Miata's suspension to give a great ride and expand the performance envelope! Just what the Miata needs to make it a great car. I am very happy with them.

Pros: Great road feel, solid handling, comfortable
Vehicle: Mazda

Ok had a chance to get a better feel of the shocks. Took it out in a curvy road nearby. The funny thing is how progressive they feel in how they stiffen up. most of the time they are a light soft shock but as you put more wheel input and the g's come up they firm a lot and support the suspension. It feels like the sway bars got bigger! But when you turn the wheel back to neutral it instantly goes back to comfort mode. Back to soaking up bumps and smoothing out the ride. Magic! Totally love them.

Pros: Progressive stiffening, comfort mode, soaks bumps

KONI Shock absorbers

Amazing shocks! Spent the weekend putting them on. Mines a 96. 114k miles the original shocks were not completely dead but almost no rebound. Cant wait to take them on the HWY. Smooth on the street and firm in the twisties!

Pros: Smooth on street, firm in twisties
Vehicle: Mazda
Mileage: 114000 km

I went with Bilstein B6/B8's and was pleased with them, but they provided a slightly firmed-up, well-controlled ride compared to my high-mileage OEM units

Pros: well-controlled ride
Cons: slightly firmed-up

I have 6112 front 5100 rear and I cannot express the difference in ride quality and even “handling”. Totally eliminated understeer.

Pros: ride quality, handling
Cons: eliminated understeer

I did the Bilstein 5100s and very happy with the result. On a 5.3 truck, the 2" cir-clip setting put the truck pretty level. Rides so much better.

Pros: rides much better

They're definitely a more budget friendly option so don't expect them to preform like fox or king shocks, for a daily you don't care too much about I'd run them, but for a truck you care about and want more performance out of I'd run Bilstein 4600's

Pros: budget friendly option
Cons: performance not top tier
Vehicle: Ford Ranger

The original shocks were completely shot so I replaced them with Bilstein B6 shocks. The ride feels incredibly stiff on most roads.

Cons: ride feels incredibly stiff
