Oil filter Wix or OEM Toyota

On my '21 XLE I use WIX 51394 oil filter which holds more oil and is slightly longer than OEM. I use Mobil 1 Extended Performance 0W-20.

Personally, I just go ahead and spend the few extra bucks on wix XP.

Wix filters are high quality and affordable, usually get those on amazon.

I did my FJ’s oil change for the first time myself a few weeks ago. All the aftermarket filters seem to not be as good as OEM, and they cost more. Got mine from the dealer, with the gasket, for under $9

I use a good filter I use Wix XP.

Oil changes are simple, 7 quarts of Mobil 1 ESP X2 oil, quality filter - I like Wix.

Swapped the oil filter with the recommended Wix oil filter

I tend to lean dealership if I don't do it myself. I have gone a couple of those places before and I damn near have to break out the screw driver to get the oil filter off.
