I have not had oil light come back on since I changed the oil and filter. Was originally running 5w-30. Changed to Eurospec 0w-40 and a Mann oil filter and have not had the light come on. Have driven over 500 miles now.....

Pros: light has not returned
Mileage: 805 km

Mann Oil filter

I got my last filter from Amazon, Mann 719/45. Amazon's site says it doesn't fit my CC but it fit just fine and lots of the comments were from people using them on the 2.0 TSI.

Pros: fit just fine
Vehicle: Volkswagen
Part number: 719/45

Motorcraft Oil filter

Actually, I can do it myself for less than half of that. I usually pickup 6 quarts of Mobil 1 at Costco for $25.99, and an OEM Motorcraft filter at Walmart for $3.95. For less than $30, I have a complete synthetic oil change.

Pros: complete synthetic oil change
Vehicle: Toyota MR2

Mann Oil filter

what I used on my old car from after the warranty ended to 215,000 miles (the last oil change before buying a new car)? Shell Rotella T6 or Chevron Delo 400 LE 5w40, which ever was cheaper at WalMart (or in stock), combined with a FRAM filter (back when it was made in Germany), then later the genuine Mann filter.

Pros: genuine Mann filter
Mileage: 346000 km
