Oil filter K&N or Wix

Personally, I just go ahead and spend the few extra bucks on wix XP.

Wix filters are high quality and affordable, usually get those on amazon.

I use a good filter I use Wix XP.

Oil changes are simple, 7 quarts of Mobil 1 ESP X2 oil, quality filter - I like Wix.

Swapped the oil filter with the recommended Wix oil filter

I use 5W-30 Mobil 1 synthetic oil in it with Wix filters.

The car runs smoother, burns less oil, idle feels quieter, oil comes out less dirty and overall, the car just feels better.

Wix in everything.

Purolator and Wix filters are made by mann+hummel. Both are excellent filters. The Wix filter part# 57002 is made specifically for the 2.5 non turbo Skyactive engine because it does not have an anti drain back valve and same goes for oem. 0w20 only comes in synthetics so as long as you use what is recommended in the manual you can use your favorite oil. I will be doing 3-4K oci.

Right now I have Red Line 5w30 and a wix filter due to what I’ve read on forums

The K&N for my car was literally half as thick as the oe, and for that reason alone I swapped back. Yes it was the right one. Personally I’d rather just swap the filter than clean and re oil one that is probably doing a worse job
