For those still wondering or trying to second guess if this is correct. M1-104A has been on my bike for a solid year. I have 5,000 miles with no issues. I agree with others about the metric threading. There is a slight difference between the 104 and 107. Hope this helps.

I also use the Mobile one extended oil filter and change with each 5000 mile iloil change. Oil comes out looking used but not over used.
141k on my 2017 Elantra I only use Mobil 1 filters I'm perinoid to try and other brand
Oil service has been done every 5K since then using Liqui Moly Molygen Full Synthetic 5W-40 and Hengst filters.
Mobil1 oil and filter.
Is all I use in my 2007 1500 5.7 hemi.
Over 200000 miles so far.
PUP or PP for oil and Mopar or Mobil 1 for filter (5thgen)
I have used Mobil one synthetic on my 07 fit since 33,000km. Took the valve cover off once to adjust lash around 150, took it off at 200&230 and it looks like it was just assembled (I kid you not) - so realistically, I find the oil to be fine for my L15. Replaced my oil/filter ever 7000km (highway mostly) because it’s the cheapest maintenance if you plane to drive your car forever :)
Mobil 1 Extended Performance M1C-451 Plastic end caps (blue). Maybe viton seals on the filter? Says product of USA Rated up to 15,000 miles... which sounds worse than the stock filter (30,000 km...)
since vw started using the synthetic material i am very fond of using oem. ive never seen the synthetic material deteriorate or crush in the housing between oil changes. ive also seen the plastic on those types of hengst filters break apart and that scares me to use.
