Usually AutoZone near me runs a deal: but 5 quarts of Mobile 1, get a discount on the Mobile 1 filter...
It's worked for over a decade.
I've had my truck nearly 30 years now and DIY'd DOZENS of oil changes. I've not once used an OEM filter. I use whatever's on sale, preferably K&N or Mobil 1, but often Fram or Purolator or whatever was on sale.
I can count on zero hands the number of times the brand of filter has affected my Taco.
if your car is stock, you don't have to worry too much about the oil and filter. i think last time i went with a mobile 1 filter and their extended performance oil but I have used other brands too. any OEM filter will be fine.
I prefer mobil 1 or wix filters, mobil 1 or castrol oil usually
Not that particular one, but I always used mobile 1 filters with all my vehicles, did with my ‘11 touring for the first couple changes, until we started to carry the OEM filter at store level
I use Mobil 1 oil filters purchased from Walmart. They’ve been good for me so far.
I second this. 99% filteration larger volume vs 95% of factory OEM filtration on a much smaller can.
Ordered 5 Quarts of Mobile 1 15W-50 and Mobil 1 Extended Performance M1-102A Oil Filter for my F800r at walmart for just $40 bucks total. Picking up today to do oil change.
I have had good results with the Hengst. Recently ran a Hengst to 20,000 miles. It’s was a bit crispy but was doing just fine.
I use Mobil 1 Extended Performance High Mileage on my Z with their bigger filter too. Haven’t noticed anything bad.
Mobil one filters aren’t as good as the oem Mann filters.
