Oil filter Fram or Wix

Fram Oil filter

It's fine. I just grab Fram TGs for ours as they're common and good for two OCIs and I never need a wrench. Rated at 15k minimum and I put 13k on them and Blackstone says I'm good.

Pros: common, good for two OCIs
Vehicle: Honda
Mileage: 13000 km

Wix Oil filter

I’ve long done 7500 oil change intervals for my naturally aspirated cars, and I’m sticking to 5000 in my turbocharged Subaru now, always with synthetic (Mobil 1 or Pennzoil Ultra Platinum, and a Wix XP oil filter).

Pros: synthetic oil, regular maintenance
Vehicle: Subaru

Wix Oil filter

I’ll be replacing the filer with the Wix 58128 over the OEM Mopar simply because again it’s a decent budget filter and I can’t justify the $45 Mopar price tag, any thoughts on this as well?

Pros: decent budget filter
Vehicle: Chrysler
Mileage: 290000 km
Part number: 58128

Fram Oil filter

No, fram is the worst possible oil filter brand. They are restrictive, cheap, Chinese crap. I've seen them come fresh out the box with gaps in the metal. I've seen videos of people cutting open un used filters and finding surface rust.

Pros: Autozone sells stp filters
Cons: restrictive, cheap, Chinese crap

Fram Oil filter

Say no to fram filters. Keep this junk far away from your engines. OEMs like Mann or Hengst are cheap enough.

Pros: OEMs are cheap enough
Cons: junk, keep far away
