I'm running Bosch and have been for 45k miles with no issues, even tuned running extra boost which demands more of the ignition coils.
I have Bosch in my 2015 currently with no issues for 30k miles so far
‘03 540i original Bremi coils still rockin at 152k mi
I’ve ran Bosche in all my M3’s with great success.
Stock Bremi/bosch are the way to go.
I’ve used Bosch without issue as well.
I've a 09 E89 3.0 and went with the Bosch coils about 2 years & 20k miles ago and haven't had any problems yet
Replaced all 6 coils with a set of Bremi from FCP 60k miles/9 years ago. I’ve got a new set on the way thanks to their lifetime replacement program. The customer service rep said they should be changed every 3-4 oil changes which sounds crazy to me He said I got luck they lasted 9 years. But I was expecting more like 100k not 60k. Granted I was going uphill with a full load with lights/AC/stereo all on. Probably should have lightened the electrical load but it’s never been a problem until today. SES light came on. Engine started misfiring. Pulled over immediately. Ran the codes. Got a P1353 (cylinder 6 misfire/coil).
I replaced one ignition coil, we all know the others are otw out now but I'd have to wait a month for the fcp or ecs lifetime warranty and i may just do bremi at this point, since no availability sadly
Bremi had premature failures in the first few years of the e46 and were replaced as OEM by Bosch.
