First of all: I’m a Morimoto headlight owner. Overall, I love them. Glad I bought them. My biggest issue is having to replace lightbulbs. There’s no bulb replacement option with our Morimotos. Lots of folks having to replace the whole housing because be of the bulbs burned out.

Pros: love them, glad bought
Cons: no bulb replacement option
Vehicle: Nissan
Mileage: 5000 km

I currently have morimoto xb evos on my 5th gen and they do not disappoint in any category. Yes they're expensive, but they're pretty much the only real upgrade over factory leds in a facelift 5th gen.

Pros: real upgrade, no disappointments
Cons: expensive

I had the same issue on one front light for my cayenne 2016. I am not a handy man and got advised from my mechanic that I replaced it, got replaced for 9000 dirhams for a used one and perfect since then. I didn\u2019t bother fixing, it had a hole in the silicon.

Pros: used replacement worked
Cons: hole in the silicon
Vehicle: Porsche Cayenne

I picked up my morimotos years ago after hitting of all things - a chicken and it cracked an OEM. Insurance covered the expensive OEMs so I opted to replace with morimotos. Several times I experienced high beam/low beam issues. Every time I reached out, morimoto provided quick and excellent customer service. Shipped me replacement lights on 3 occasions.

Pros: quick customer service
Cons: high beam/low beam issues

I been telling people for months on here to stop spending thousands of dollars on shit that makes their car less reliable. Morimotos are well known for being an unreliable product, even if they are cool.

Pros: cool look
Cons: unreliable product
Vehicle: Nissan

I've been running Morimoto XB LED headlights on my 370Z for a while now and love the look - sequential turn signals, great output, matches the TRD Pro aesthetic perfectly. The 4Runner I just bought came with Morimoto headlights already installed. They have moisture intrusion in the lenses (common issue in Texas heat/humidity). I reached out to Morimoto hoping to buy replacement lenses since the housings and LEDs are fine. "We don't sell replacement lenses or any replacement components. You'll need to purchase a complete new headlight assembly." So if a lens gets damaged, moisture gets in, road debris cracks it, or UV weathering deteriorates it over time... you're buying an entirely new $1,700-2,000 set. No repair options. No replacement parts.

Pros: great output, matches aesthetic
Cons: moisture intrusion, no replacement parts
Vehicle: Nissan
