I replaced it with a OEM style koyorad I found for $130 and corrected the radiator caps and my temps have been perfect all summer. It is a bitch to burp the coolant so I recommend buying the spill-free funnel.

Pros: perfect temperatures
Vehicle: Subaru Forester

The Koyorad full aluminum radiator is the one to have. Paired to your Hayden 698 since it doesn’t have a section to cool the trans fluid, however definitely worth it for durability as the next alternative over OEM replacement rad.

Pros: excellent durability
Cons: no integrated trans cooler

I run the Koyorad 38mm radiator on my NB, with just regular Prestone green concentrate and distilled water 50/50, and OEM Mazda cap and thermostat. Coolant temps stay in the 190's at all times. It very rarely gets above 200 except on the hottest summer days, usually when sitting in traffic.

Pros: stable coolant temperatures, rarely overheats
Vehicle: Mazda

MISHIMOTO Engine radiator

I bought a mishi three weeks ago, it arrived a week later, leaking. Two weeks later, mishi gave me a new one for free. Guess what.. it’s leaking too, from the welds at the neck. I gave up and had my buddy seal it up good

Pros: free replacement
Cons: leaking, poor welds, multiple failures
