Engine oil Shell or OEM Subaru

I use Castrol for the Nexon and Punch. The Safari uses Shell. Shell and Castrol are by far the best I've come across. Shell is much much better for the cold weather, by what I've observed.

My 96 xj I would put in 5 quarts of rotella 15-40 and a quart of Lucas oil stabilizer purred like a kitten

Our Blueprint crate 383 stroker calls for Rotella as an acceptable oil for daily use. Cheaper, too.

Run Rotella in my 80’s and 90’s BMW’s often. They seem to like it, and sometimes it’s cheap at Walmart.

Ran t4 10w30 in my 95 Cherokee for the whole time I had it and it loved in. Never ran better

mobil 1 is trash. i go with castrol5w40 or motul 5w40 or rotella diesel 5w40

I ran diesel oil in my '94 yukon for the entirety of it's 260k miles. My dad always said the same. The zinc was better for it. When I got rid of it, it was still running fine and driving fine.

I’ve been using rottela t 15w-40 in my 70 Camaro for this reason.

I use Rotella in old VW Bug. Seems to work well but i put very few miles on the car.

Rotella T-Syn is a great oil but for our turbos...i wouldn't recommend it since if any oil gets burnt or makes it way through the rings...the higher amount of ZDDP (zinc) found in the Shell Rotella Synthetic oil will be harmful to your catalytic converter which may cause a failure.
