Engine oil RAVENOL or Motorex

RAVENOL Engine oil

Just a suggestion to other Sebring drivers. I know there are lots of "the best oils" out there, but they are not made for this kind of punishment, they will sheer apart.

Pros: good for racing
Cons: not discount brand

RAVENOL Engine oil
Low-Power-5970

Rating 4.5

I went down a rabbit hole with engine oil a while back and settled on ravenol. I get that most top tier oils are good enough but my issue was I was consuming more oil than I'd like with my f10 m5 and since switching, it is consuming considerably less oil

Pros: less oil consumption

Motorex Engine oil

At the end of the day, pretty much anything in spec will work fine.

That being said, I did a bunch of research for my V85 and determined that Motorex Cross-Power does the best in high demand applications. Air cooled engines can have a really wide temp range. That's what I use.

Pros: best in high demand

RAVENOL Engine oil

Currently have Ravenol EFE 0w-16 in and have use Pennzoil Platinum, Eneos, and Idemitsu IFG7. I noticed bit of emulsified oil on the dipstick especially when I run in EV mode mostly. So definitely get it out on the highway on a daily basis if possible and get a used oil analysis. I have had 3 done and all three showed various 0w-16 oils shear down out of grade and their Flashpoints decrease.

Cons: oils shear down out of grade
Vehicle: Toyota
