Engine oil OEM Toyota or OEM Honda
At 1st I was running 0w-20, that's what is recommended from manufacturer. That being said i run High Mileage 5w30 in my car. Have been for the last 3 oil changes.
I change mine every 5k irregardless of whatever Toyota says. Oil changes are cheap insurance to your engine if you intend to keep it for the long term.
Toyota OEM oil has 10x the amount of thr dry lubrication additive molybdenum in its additive package. The dealerships use bulk Mobil 1 oil when they do your oil change. This is why everyone should change their own oil.
Still going strong!
Use toyota 0/16. Or Mobil 1 0/16. Liqui moly is also very good.
Fun fact, on a gen 4 Toyota Camry (1997-2001) with the 5S-FE 2.2-liter four cylinder, the low oil light doesn’t even come on until you’re like 2.5 quarts low!
My 2014 had 226K changed it at toyota every 10K no issues
2004 Toyota Avensis
Thing just guzzles oil. I believe the model I had was manufactured in England.
Had to top up the oil every 3000kms
