Mobil 1 extended oil. Full synthetic 5W30 changed every 12,000km. Mine burns about 1 litre (pint) per every 1,500-2,000km. So I top up a few times between full on oil changes
I use Mobil 1 full synthetic because I also use it for my car, and if you send you oil off to a lab after you change it, even at 3000 miles the oil was still in great shape.
Ran Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy for a while and it was fine, but lately I've switched over to the Toyota branded. It's more expensive, but I only change my oil once a year because I don't drive it much, and I like the higher molybdenum content in the Toyota stuff.
I have been using the oil recommended by the owners manual (the Dutch one at least) for a couple of years now, no issues at all. I use Total Quartz 9000 5W-40.
The OE VW oil is Mobil 1 0W-20 ESP X2 with a zirconium marker and blue dye added for VW 508/509 requirements. The ESP X2 0W-20 is the only M1 product that meets the higher HTHS spec needed for VW 508/509. Its also API SP and has balanced chemistry for LSPI issues in other makes.
Mobil 1 5w-50 for the last few years.
I always used Mobil1 High Milage oil in my old truck before I sold it.
I run Mobil 1 in my bikes.
Mobil 1 Definitely. 0W20 in my 2023 Sonata Limited. 5W30 in my 2014 Sonata Limited.
about 4 weeks ago i did a 10w 30 mobil 1 synthetic oil change in my obd1 vr6 mk2. i find with this i can hear more of what is going on under the hood and may b i'm getting parranoid over normal noises that are just amplified b/c of the intake everything coming from the motor seems louder. lifters i'm assuming esspecially when motor is cold. but oddly there is also a weird \"diesel\" sound...pinging?...around 3200 rpm.. Nothing before or after once motor is warm i notice it as well during coasting deceleration.
