Engine oil Mobil or PETRONAS

I am using Liqui Moly now, but was using Valvoline/Mobil 1.

Got my car at 36k miles, and used the Valvoline/Mobil 1 up to ~300k miles and no major issues…

I use 5w-20 full synthetic from Mobil One. I change it every 5k miles, no more, and never have any issues with it.

I prefer Mobil 1 oil, some people will swear by the or that brand. I just wouldn’t buy store brand stuff myself.

I am running 0W-30 (already passed my powertrain warranty). Engine sounds quieter and better (ie less trashy).

Petronas Selenia 5w30 é o único que eu usei no meu carro até hoje, trocando de 5 em 5 mil km. É o que está no manual do carro. 66mil km até hoje (10 anos de carro, rodo pouco) e não tenho nada o que falar, cumpre o papel.

I would not hesitate to use Mobil1 in my RAV4. I think it's more important that you change the oil than the brand of oil. I have not used Amsoil in 15 years, but my experience was that it was solid.

Vc pode usar qualquer marca desde que tenha a especificação dexos. Se não tiver vai comprometer a correia e romper.

Tenho um 2019, uso Mobil dexos desde sempre a cada 10k/km e nunca tive problemas.

used mobil 5W-30 while ago, discovered it consume oil too fast. after that i’m stick with seasons cheapest LL01 approved oil. Elf 900FT 5W-40 for several years, going to try Penzoil 5W-40. N52 consume oil anyways.. but bit slower than 5W-30.

At my 18,000 mile service, barely dropped off full. V.W.they told me at the service has now went with Mobil 1.3,000 miles later down now a 1/2 quart.
