Engine oil Mobil or OEM Subaru
Mobil 1 is one of the better, but you could use any 0w-20. I'd just say stick with a name brand and not something from a gas station.
mobil 1 high mileage synthetic has been good to me.
I would love it if the whole world moved away from fossil fuels and completely to renewable energy resources. Myself included. However, for many practical reasons I currently own a vehicle with an internal combustion engine, and when it needs an oil change I change the oil myself. So what oil do I buy? I buy Mobil1.
We exclusively use Mobil 1 (varying grades and viscosities) per the MFR spec and changing it at the MFR spec mileage (or time, during covid). Never any issues noted. 1985 BMW K100RS (122k miles), 2003 Boxster (177k miles), 2012 Acadia (98k miles), 2013 Jetta SEL (105k miles).
In a pinch, I used Mobil 1.
Mobil 1 0w-40
I use Mobil 1 10w30 with zinc additives. What my local rotary shop recommends and puts in the cars they work on so I assume they know more and better than me lol
For my 2018 Stelvio Even the dealership in Toronto uses Pennzoil Euro LX, but I have used Mobil-1 0W-30 as well. I did not find major differences in performance with these 2, only difference is the prices.. Otherwise I'd recommend both.
I use Mobil-1 Advanced Fuel Economy 0W-30. It meets API SP (and SN Plus of course) and is available at Walmart pretty much everywhere for *cheap*.
So, again, I bought a new one and threw it on just last night. I took it for a ride to get it warmed up and I'm still having low oil pressure.
