Mobile one full synthetic hands-down. I have a 2004 Toyota Corolla and a 2007 Toyota Tacoma I’ve owned both since brand new and now both have over 260,000 miles apiece . I have only used Mobil one full synthetic changed every 5000 miles. just took a bore scope to look into both engines a few months ago. They look like they’re brand new. Almost no varnish. Absolutely no sledge, never had any problems whatsoever with these vehicles. It’s insane.
my vehicles use only Mobil 1 oil.
I have used Motul and Castrol before and I found the Mobil oil to perform and keep the engine cooler and smoother on my triumph.
Mobil 5w-40 or Liquimoly. 10w-60 for hot summer track days.
Mobil 1 AFE 0W-30 is what they used at the dealership and I’ve read a bunch of other people use it. I use it. Supposedly better than the mopar one.
Mobil1 or Pennzoil is what I use I got my car since 2019 no oil leaks no problems
5 qt jug of M1 and a wix filter runs me just under $30 for most vehicles, and the oil is better than the conventional bulk crap most oil changes places use.
if you buy oil from Walmart, 5qt of mobil 1 or similar is well under $30. i buy the Mazda OEM filter/washer combos in a pack of 5 for like $6 per filter. so my oil change is around $34 (plus $10 for a bottle of techron) and i know i didn’t fuck it up.
My changes have generally been religious at 5k and that didn’t save my GTI from losing compression in cyl3 at 37k untuned miles it suffered 15% leakdown vs the other 3. That car got M1 0w-40, tried and true stuff, so you just never know.
I'm not a fan of Mobil 1. I have noticed my car burns only on Mobil 1.
