Mobil 1, best all around protection. Especially under high heat/Cold conditions. Been running is forever in my cars
So I’m in the U.K. and I just had my car serviced it’s an x4M, the reccomend is BMW or Castrol Edge, I went for Mobil 1 0w-30. For some reason not sure if it’s the oil my fuel economy has gone up by 100 miles per tank
Mobil1 especially the ESP 5W30, it has certifications from major manufacturers such as MB229, BMW LL, and importantly Porsche C30 certified which is the most strict out there... Also can't be helped that I own a Peugeot which happens to recommend Mobil 1 as well...
12 years running and no major issues so far on the unreliable-ass Prince EP6 Engine.
‘15 here and I use Mobil 1 0w40 euro spec or whatever it is.
I change mine about every 4500 miles or so and I use Mobil 1 oil. Manufacturers love to point out how little it costs to maintain their vehicles but changing your oil every 10k will ensure you’ll be replacing your vehicle sooner than later and that benefits the dealership.
Stopped buying the dealer oil and switched to Mobil one esp x2, stopped asking for more oil between 5k changes.
I’m from saudi and the owner’s manual recommends 0w20 or 5w30, never mentioned 0w16 despite that the engine is the same (A25A-FKS). Im using mobil 5w30 btw
I use 5w30 ESP Mobil 1, has the 507 grade spec and gets on sale at Canadian tire pretty frequently
Usually, motor oil goes bad because the additive packs that are in the oil get burned off or used up. I'd imagine that this new Mobil1 Annual Performance has more additive packs than what standard Mobil1 has but it's probably able to go that far because you're going to have to add additional oil that gets burned off because every car burns oil.
Mobil one didnt go well with me as i was burning oil really fast it and my engine wasn't feeling it I tend to use different brands also as i recently tried royal purple
