Engine oil Mobil or Castrol

Mobil Engine oil

I mostly use the 0W-40 full synthetic Mobil 1 "European" or w/e they call it. I change my oil every 5K miles, including filter (Mann).

Pros: full synthetic
Vehicle: Volkswagen
Mileage: 5000 km

I been using castrol 5w40 since I got the car new at 82 miles no issues. Sent my oil samples to blackstone for analysis and oil is really good even at 10k.

Pros: oil is really good

Castrol Engine oil

I use 10w40 full synthetic oil, and only the best quality stuff. Valvoline, Castrol, Pennsoil, Mobil1, Idemitsu end the like. Before my rebuild, I was using Idemitsu Rotary blend but switched to Castrol GTX. The GTX semi synthetic blend had a slightly lower oil temp and lasted longer per oil change than the Idemitsu, indicating that it was lubricating better.

Pros: lower oil temp, lasted longer
Vehicle: Mazda

So, again, I bought a new one and threw it on just last night. I took it for a ride to get it warmed up and I'm still having low oil pressure.

Cons: low oil pressure
