I noticed that unlike all of the other S52s his engine wasn't ticking. I asked him why he thought that was and he said it was because he uses Liqui-Moly 10w-60.

Pros: no engine ticking
Vehicle: BMW

this oil is fantastic. the car runs PERFECT. it is a bit pricy but i dont really care. i've used it for +60k doing oil changes every 5k miles... as the report shows, the engine is WAY better than perfect.

Pros: car runs perfect

LIQUI MOLY Engine oil

I have been using liqui moly 5w-40 in my 2009 2.5l for the past 30k miles and i think its the best oil. recently i have discovered their MoS2 anti friction additive and put that in my last oil change. the car runs very smoothly and should last a long time with its strong wear protection. also the car consistently achieves good MPG.

Pros: car runs very smoothly, good MPG
Vehicle: Volkswagen
Mileage: 30000 km

Those engines do burn oil. Clogged PCV would be the first to eliminate. Go w/a HD 5w-40 like Rotella.

Pros: HD 5w-40 oil
Cons: clogged PCV
