I just did my first oil change at 1k miles. I went with Liqui Moly 2332 Leichtlauf High Tech 5W-40 which meets 502 spec.
I've been using the Liqui-Moly 5w-40 Leichtlauf High Tech since 2500 miles.
You want to know how your oil is doing? Send it to Blackstone labs for testing. Cost $35 but worth it in my opinion. I send my 8k oil (Liquy Moly, from my CC) and it was still very good!
This stuff is amazing, totally worth the extra money.
I use this for ever oil change and I've had no problems, CEL, or oil consumption. I drive it hard with autox and have done 20+hour road trips.
Liqui Moly makes some excellent products.
I can confidently say this ‘leichtlauf’ oil really makes a difference. The engine feels healthy on cold starts, hot starts, hard acceleration, etc. Use this oil????????
after 1k of changing my oil I have to say the Liqui_moly remains pretty clear compared to when I used Castrol.
my consumption was terrible when running Castrol .... Now it's pretty decent .... Especially for winter time .... Liquimoly is ace.
It helped significantly! Went from burning Castrol to liquimoly which burns way less. Also I use a liquimoly sealer now and then to reduce consumption.
