I use Castrol Magnatec A3/B4 10W-40 part synthetic. 3 years now and no problems.

As a 2015 Abarth 595 owner here in the UK I tried Petronas Syntec and have to say the little fella seemed to like it.

5W-30 Castrol C4, never fails with my Clio. DPF is safe and sound, no soot, no weird smells.

Pros: DPF safe and sound

5W40 Castrol Euro. I get less oil consumption than 5w-30 and it seems to run a bit more smoothly.

Castrol Edge 'Euro Car' 5W-40

Used to get a big white plume on cold starts but no more. Still burn a lot, but not as much

Yes you can I’ve been using 10w40 castrol ever since I got it and I’ve been fine

I use Redline but for a million years I used Mobil 1 car oil. Before that we used Castrol 20/50 petroleum oil

I always ran castrol gold motorcycle 20w50 on my Harley's.

I tried using valvoline, that burned noticeably faster. But castrol high mileage has been pretty good.
