1.3 million on Amsoil. Shell is a close second.
2008 VW Beetle is a 2.5 liter 5 cylinder. Yeah, 5 cylinder. It takes 6.3 quarts
Amsoil is worth it and head and shoulders above the competition. I used a custom built testing apparatus to characterize dozens of lubricants including oils of all weights from Mobil 1, Castrol, penzoil, valvoline, and Amsoil.
On my 05 cr125 I ran amsoil low smoke for riding mostly harder enduro stuff (worst bike for it, but a fun challenge).
I got a good deal on some amsoil and I love it, pricey but worth it tbh!
Amsoil z-rod is what I run but nothing wrong with rotella diesel oil.
Amsoil. I run it in anything and everything they make fluids for. Even the 2 strokes. Father has been a dealer for decades and the number of stories he has backing up amsoi's marketing claims is IMPRESSIVE. I've personally seen a few success stories already and PLENTY of scientific testing
Amsoil 5W30 SS, I run E85 so I wanted something I could trust to handle fuel dilution
I personally like Amsoil better they actually created synthetic oil but I don’t believe in 25,000 miles on it oil change if you want to run it for like 10,000 and change the filter halfway through 5000 I believe the Oil Wall hold off no problem bye just seems like a lot of miles to put on oil
Well, just got back the test results on for our oil analysis, here are the comments: " Nothing showed up in this sample that's too much of a surprise, though aluminum and copper are perhaps a little higher than expected. New parts wearing in tend to leave a lot of metal in the oil and that's what we suspect is going on here. You ran this oil pretty long for factory oil (we realize you were probably only following the oil life monitor). So that's why aluminum and copper are on the high side. No matter--everything should improve now that you've changed this fill. The TBN read 1.9, getting low but still okay. Potassium is from the EGR system. "
