Amsoil 10W-30 Signature Series here. It's on the expensive side but it's 100% synthetic, tests great, and made in the USA.
I have ran Amsoil since day one on my 2016. I change oil once a year currently sitting at 156,000 miles, no issues knock on wood.
Been using amsoil for a little over a year now and it's really quiet.
Amsoil. My s2k burned just about every oil when I beat on it until I started using Amsoil.
Any major brand of the correct rating and viscosity will work.
That being said, I have an 05 that was used as a DD for 12 years. Short trips, 3 days a week. After 12 years and 47K miles, I added a aftermarket supercharger. Put another 20K on it, including trips to the drag strip and track days.
I then had it rebuilt with forged internals because I wanted higher boost and more power. When the engine was pulled apart and measured. There was no wear. The cylinders were still within factory specs as was the crank.
I had used Amsoil SS 0W-20 the whole time.
Amsoil in everything I ever owned. My 2017 RAV4 hybrid is sitting on 350k miles and still running strong.
I run amsoil in the engine and primary and redline in the tranny. No issues, my glide runs better on the amsoil then when I the syn3 in it
Here I am just dumping in Amsoil 5W-50 SSO because all I care about is shear wear protection and something content with high temp operation. 20,000 miles and not even a single psi drop in compression the whole time, don't even premix.
I've been using AMSoil 5W30 in my WRX since it was new (2003). Turbo is still good, and head gaskets lasted 17 years. I think it's worth the price.
I use Amsoil 0W20 but I’m a dealer. I have access to the test they run comparing it to Mobil and AC Delco stuff. The Amsoil is supposed to be better longer, but to me that comes down to your filter more than your oil.
