My Nissan Pathfinder has a CVT transmission. According to the internet, it won't last 80k miles, at best. I've got 197k miles on it, plus I tow, and it's still going strong!

Pros: long lasting, still strong
Vehicle: Nissan Pathfinder
Mileage: 317048 km

Wife has a 2016 or 17 versa sv. Nearing 100k miles. We've changed the cvt fluid twice and it still functions. That being said I don't trust it. You can feel the transmission get hot in stop and go traffic. It starts to lurch and feels like drivetrain lash. I would bet money that the transmission doesn't make it to 200k even with 2-3 more expensive oem fluid changes.

Cons: gets hot, lurches, drivetrain lash, unreliable
Vehicle: Nissan
Mileage: 160934 km
