My wife has a 2021 Model-y and it’s been amazing. 55K miles and all we’ve done is a set of tires, wipers, and a few cabin air filters.
90k miles on mine and the only cost is charging at home (9 cents per kW), tires and cabin air filter.
It was $100 for the BMW cabin filter. After 20 min of trying to squeeze in to do it, I would say, that $90 was worth it for the cabin air filter.
I’ve had a M3P for almost 4 years now. Best car I have had. With 38K miles now I have only done the following maintenance. New set of tires $1200, cabin filter $20, wiper fluid $7.99. That’s it for maintenance.
Have had my 2015 535i X drive for 3 months now and I love it. Was looking at B58 for a while, and decided to go with the one I have now because it had 80k miles, was in great shape and had good maintenance records.
I've used both the Tesla ones and the Amazon ones and both resulted in bad smells after 6-12 months. My third set is a similar version of the Amazon ones. I just swap them every 12 months. Also use the foaming coil cleaner this time and things still smell nice after 3 months. Real test will be this summer.
Only needed the air cabin filter mold issue addressed.
I swapped my OEM filters after 4 years and they looked new. Put in one of the “high rated ones” from Amazon and the car started smelling. I’m thinking of just spending the extra money to go Tesla official because i’m not trusting these Temu products that fit the cabin but might be making things worse.
You bought garbage , only OEM filters are great for Tesla
Don’t get the ones with the carbon in them, buy OEM. The reason is these restrict air flow which is harder on your AC system and testing shows they do a worse job of filtration as well.
