I'm thinking of picking up a K&N washable cabin filter, actually 2 one to use right away and the other to use for backup, when the 1st one get super dirty...
I really like my K&N reusable cabin filter. It's made very heavy duty.
The K & N ones are very nice quality and make sense if you are going to keep the car for many miles. Once you buy them you will look at it and think man all the other ones are bad quality.
I change my cabin air filter every 6 months on the 3 due to this SFL humidity. Can get 8-9 months with our Y.
The VF2074 fits just as well as the oem, you should be able to set it in the oem door / latch. I have it on mine with no issues.
I got a K&N washable filter. It’s got the wire mesh that keeps them out. Haven’t had any issues since installing it.
I've just hit 40k km on my car. Only brought it in once to change the cabin air filter.
‘21 Tesla Model Y, I’ve needed an air filter change with coil cleaning, another coil cleaning I did myself. Set of tires at 25k miles. Currently at 30 k miles and only other thing I’ve done is refill windshield washer fluid.
Yay. For cost and availability
They are cheap compared to others. K&N’s does not clean as well as I want it to and the HKS filters are super hard to come across (charcoal nano micro fiber????)
Bosch with charcoal, DO NOT USE KN CABIN FILTERS, you’ll be very unhappy with them. Tried them for 4 years, sure cleaning was easy, but they did not filter any orders, if anything they made them worse. Switched back to Bosch.
