Brake pads TRW or OEM KIA

OEM KIA Brake pads

I am driving a 2012 Kia rio hatchback daily. Over the period I did regular maintenance such as oil changes and some minor fluid changes. Changed tires twice and replaced front suspension parts and break pads once over 13 years of ownership.

Pros: regular maintenance, drives fine
Vehicle: Kia Rio
Mileage: 115000 km

"TRW LUCAS MCB54" organics are great. I am currently riding the "EBC FA29V Semi Sintered" but the bite point isn't as good as the TRW.

Pros: organics are great
Cons: bite point isn't good
Part number: MCB54

TRW Brake pads

remember there are 5-7 different brake pad manufacture's that VW uses and slaps their logo on it. Buying from dealer or third party with a VW logo on it doesn't mean they are exactly perfect. its a shame that VW charges those prices and still have this issue, yet you could buy jane plane TRW/ATE pads and be fine.

Pros: TRW/ATE pads are fine
Cons: VW branded pads not perfect
