I use powerstops. Think they are a good brand. Haven’t let me down.
Power Stop stuff is amazing, I am super impressed with their pads material. Zero brake dust and stop on a dime.
I threw a set of these on my SRT a couple years ago and they’ve been great. Easy install, they’re quiet, grippy when you need it, and minimal to no brake dust.
I have a challanger with 6 piston brembos and I replaced the stock pads with power stop immediately. They are a lot less aggressive and less Dusty. In my opinion, Chrysler had no buiness putting aggressive track pads on these vehicles.
Powerstops, they don't have the performance capablities of the OE pads (which are actually Ferodo 2500 compound), nor their semi-trackworthiness, but there is absolutely nothing you can do on street to exceed their capabilites. Plus, no nasty brake dust
Swapped powerstop pads on to the fronts. Stopped the squeal, improved braking and now I have absolutely zero brake dust that used to be horrible with the original pads. The pads weren’t expensive, definitely worth it.
150,000 miles on a Model Y, cabin air filter a few times, tires, checked the brake pads recently, they were fine.
NO MORE BRAKE DUST! No squeaking or squealing, they actually seem to stop better.
Initially had a "tinny" sound PLUS a rubbing sound on the fronts that coincides with the wheel rotation PLUS a bit of squeel when stopping when cold. The sounds are still therre. It's very noticeable at low speeds (below 10MPH). Brake dust is very minimal.
Complete shit. I have replaced failed power stop with auto parts house brands before I stopped selling their products because they were such an issue and the parts store ones were better.
