Brake pads POWER STOP or OEM Mazda

OEM Mazda Brake pads

OEM ceramic brake pads can last 60k to 90k miles.. But they're not that expensive if you change them yourself. Very easy on Mazda, best changed at about 50k miles of normal driving, before they wear too much more, to keep quality OEM rotors for longer.

Pros: easy to change
Cons: cheap replacements won't last
Vehicle: Mazda 2
Mileage: 80467 km

POWER STOP Brake pads

My mk5 rabbit is on its 4th set of Powerstop pads in the rear since I swapped all four corners to their pads and rotors. The fronts will probably be changed this coming summer. They still have plenty of meat on them.

Pros: plenty of meat
Vehicle: Volkswagen

OEM Mazda Brake pads

I bought a well maintained 2014 Mazda 3 hatchback with 60k miles two years ago for $8500. I’ve done rear and front brakes, as well as a rear wheel bearing in that time.

Pros: well maintained
Vehicle: Mazda 3
Mileage: 60000 km
