I put a full set of power stop ceramic pads and their drilled rotors 40k miles ago, and they are still great as well.
I would rather save a bit and get similar performance and get the Power Stop Z26 carbon infused ceramic pads. If you don't track your car no need for anything higher end as you won't get anywhere near the temps for these to fade.
I did a similar Brand: Power Stop Z26 Streets and I think they’re fine. Anything will be better than the OEM padding/Rotor. Didn’t even flush brake fluid, they did take a few drives before fully losing the squeak/grind sound when approaching full stop even after doing required bedding process. I’m at 72k miles on 2019 3.3t
I have Power Stop Z23 Ceramic/Carbon Fiber pads, they are quiet and no dust. This is for my daily driven car, no track action.
Coming from stoptech sports. I got dba sport sp. ceramic pads. Same feel but no dust!
I've got PowerStop stuff and man it is powerful. It is noisy for the first stop after a rain to burn the rust off the rotors, but that's it.
I just put them on my 2013 silverado my old rotors were vibrating hard at high speed braking and the powerstop drilled/slotted rotors and pads are completely smooth when braking at higher speed
I recently changed out my OEM pads to Powerstop Z26 for the front and rear. Big difference over stock. Went through the bedding process and they're really solid.
They are way better than the duralast pads I had. They have a better pedal feel and don’t squeak. They also stop the truck faster.
I got the z23 pads with their drilled slotted rotors. They make a weird clicky noise that's nonstop and gets worse when you brake. It's not loud but audible.
