Brake pads OEM Mazda or DIXCEL

OEM Mazda Brake pads

I bought a well maintained 2014 Mazda 3 hatchback with 60k miles two years ago for $8500. I’ve done rear and front brakes, as well as a rear wheel bearing in that time.

Pros: well maintained
Vehicle: Mazda 3
Mileage: 60000 km

'23 Turbo Meridian with only routine maintenance needed at just under 34K miles. Will likely need brakes at next oil change, but no issues or repairs needed to this point.

Pros: no issues or repairs
Cons: need brakes soon
Vehicle: Mazda
Mileage: 34000 km

I’ve two cars, a V6 sedan and a Mazda exactly like this. I depended mostly on my Mazda, which I’ve had for 3 years with an automatic transmission. I absolutely love it- it has never let me down. It always starts and goes, and I’ve even left it idling for hours many days with no issues. Apart from brake pads and regular oil changes, I haven’t had to do anything to it.

Pros: never let me down
Cons: fragile drain plug
Vehicle: Mazda

235 km/h on the german autobahn, from one border to the other, no issue! Except for the numerous heavy breaking... Going from over 200 to less than 100 several times in a row and you start loosing confidence in the brakes.

Pros: no issue at high speed
Cons: loosing confidence in brakes

Vehicle: Mazda
