Brake pads OEM Audi or OEM Volkswagen
Corrado 11 inch brakes should give plenty of stopping power. My Corrado stops on a dime too.
I took the car to the dealer and they put new rear pads and rotors on.
The R32 brakes are A LOT better. You'll like them!!
Passat has stronger brakes, by far. Actually, when I entered Taurus I couldn't believe how weak the brakes are. When I went back to Passat I almost threw myself out of my seat as I stepped so hard on the brake.
The 337/TT brakes will put a huge smile on your face. Of course, you should also make sure you have hi perf tires as well, or they will overpower your tires. It's a very, very wise upgrade. Get them with HPS pads and SS lines.
I ran DEs on one of my other Corrads and loved them.
my bro. had a turbo VR cabrio running DE brakes and 18" wheels. noticed a little a fade only under EXTREME stop and go conditions. but as far as daily driving goes, they worked very very well.
At low speeds, ASW uses the ABS sensors and brakes the spinning wheels, which will affect the life of the front brake pads (at least, that's how I understand it).
Yes the brakes fit NO wheels really fit over them. - Huge spacers will fix this - not good for your ride. - Brake balance will be grossly forward biased. Lesson: Buy a brake kit designed for your vehicle or just get better pads.
If you want an honest oppinion, do not run these brakes, just get yourself a corrado set up w/ good pads and you will be more than happy.
