I just installed Mintex red box pads on my 337 and can't complain. They work just as well as the factory pads and it is a trip to not see the reddish dust on the RCs.

Pros: work as well as factory
Cons: reddish dust on the RCs
Vehicle: Volkswagen

I had crossdrilled corrado g60 brakes with mintex metallic pads on my yellow cabriolet and it was impressive, stop like hitting a wall

After the warm up period I had the opportunity to really slam down on these things. wow. Quite grippy and doesn't seem to shift the weight to the front as much as the old stock brakes. The brakes do not pull to one side or the other as was common with my old warped stock stuff. Braking around corners is much more predictable partially due to the improved pedal modulation and feel. I've yet to track this setup, but I presume that it will do quite nicely. The slotting appears to eat my mintex redbox pads according to the abundance of brake pad particles stuck to my rims. Gonna have to keep an eye on it.

Pros: Quite grippy, more predictable
Cons: eats pads, abundance of particles
Vehicle: Volkswagen

Now as far as brakepads go, stay away from Mintex Redbox and go with PBR/Axxis Deluxe Plus or Metal Master pads. I had really bad experiences with Mintex pads, and I'm currently running Axxis Ultimate pads on my W8!

Pros: great improvement over stock
Cons: bad experiences
